Zenless Zone Zero by miHoYo debuted last week on iOS, Android, PS5, and PC and has already exceeded 50 million downloads. This free-to-play hack-and-slash game has released a fresh lore video that offers a deeper insight into New Eridu and the Hollows and teases some enigmatic figures.
In the video, the story of the Void Hunters is unraveled from a hacker's viewpoint who is infiltrating the Inter-Knot Database, scoffing at the Hollow Investigative Association for their naivety in believing the Hollows are apprehended. We learn about the predecessor of Hoshimi Miyabi (the present leader of Section 6), who triumphed over the Exaltist Overseer, and Lady "Sunbringer", the ex-CEO of the Marcel Group, who defeated the "Hive Lord" Hollow and created Bangboo.
Colonel Vike, Lieutenant Colonel Dan, and "the head of the Falkenhayn Mercenary Troupe" single-handedly restrained the Dark Wall. Intriguingly, the narrative also reveals that Professor Arche ventured into Hollow Zero to understand the parallels between Hollows but went missing afterward.
