In a bold approach to promote its latest installment, Venom: The Last Dance has launched an innovative marketing campaign that taps into a popular viral TikTok phenomenon. The third installment of this franchise uses social media not just to engage fans but to humorously integrate the character into trendy online formats.

The recently shared video on Venom 3's social channels features two paramedics moving a stretcher, when unexpectedly, the patient rolls off. Just before hitting the ground, the scene transitions to Venom humorously tumbling and addressing the audience with a playful greeting. This clip exemplifies the TikTok trend where videos tease a potential mishap, only to subvert expectations with a creative twist—something that resonates well with viewers seeking lighthearted entertainment.

This latest entry is just one of many unconventional marketing moves for the movie. Previous efforts included a FaceTime session with renowned artist Megan Thee Stallion and an assortment of peculiar merchandise, including a popcorn container resembling Venom’s head and a cup portraying the character in an exaggerated state of discomfort. The creative team certainly knows how to keep the energy up around the film, albeit with amusing consequences for Venom.

Officially titled Venom: The Last Dance, this final chapter in Sony's Venom saga reunites Tom Hardy with his role as Eddie Brock, who once again teams up with his alien counterpart to tackle formidable adversaries, such as the new Marvel villain Knull and his followers. In addition to Hardy, the cast includes Peggy Lu as Mrs. Chen, Stephen Graham as Patrick Mulligan, plus other talents like Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Notably, Andy Serkis of The Lord of The Rings fame is confirmed to portray Knull.
