In the colorful universe of Astro Bot, participants embark on an adventurous journey to rescue their bot companions across diverse landscapes. The game features six fascinating worlds, with the second galaxy known as the Tentacle System, which includes an array of engaging levels.
Among these levels lies the Cut ‘N’ Grind, a captivating mini-planet within the Tentacle System. Players must gather various collectibles to progress through this stage. This guide aims to assist players in locating all the collectibles available in the Cut ‘N’ Grind level.
How can players access the Cut ‘N’ Grind planet in Astro Bot? The Tentacle System comprises numerous primary and mini-planets. By colliding with the asteroid adjacent to the Trunk of Funk planet, players will reveal the Lost Triangle Void.
This area is incomplete and will divide into four additional Triangle planets offering challenging levels. Once players have completed the other challenges, they can access the Cut ‘N’ Grind level. Notably, this stage lacks checkpoints and puzzle pieces for collection. However, players must rescue one collectible Special Bot here, unlike in Sky Garden. The following section details the specific locations for the Cut ‘N’ Grind collectibles.
To obtain the Special Bot in Cut ‘N’ Grind, players should first finish the Lost Triangle Void stage before proceeding to the North-Western Triangle of the Tentacle System. Upon arrival, players will encounter a series of narrow ledges with rapidly moving saws that pose a danger. If players are caught, they will be sent back, so swift movement is essential to navigate through safely.
As players advance, they may confront some adversaries, but eliminating them is optional and may prolong the stage. Instead, focus on running and jumping through the area, utilizing the booster to avoid enemies. Keep your position to the left of the rails and jump consistently to reach the other side safely.
As players move forward, they will encounter electrified obstacles. These can be dodged by jumping over them, or players can switch directions and return to the safety of the rails. At the conclusion of the level awaits the Special Bot. Jump onto the platform to neutralize the Rookie Cop bot, liberating it from captivity and successfully completing the Cut ‘N’ Grind stage.
The Rookie Cop bot is designed in homage to one of Resident Evil's iconic characters, Leon Kennedy, showcasing features reminiscent of his look in Resident Evil 2.
