Ubisoft and Nintendo’s strategy game, Mario + Rabbids + Sparks of Hope, has been positively received by critics but hasn't projected the same sales figures as its previous installment. Yet, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers are being offered the chance to try it out free of cost until July 14, with hopes that it might encourage potential purchases.
Nintendo confirmed that Sparks of Hope will be free for subscribers for a week ending on July 14, 11:59 PM PT.
After Sparks of Hope was released, Ubisoft mentioned the game’s availability on similar platforms as their previous title could have potentially impacted the game's sales. Nevertheless, the game developers are optimistic about its gradual sales trajectory for "over a number of years," backed by a strong word-of-mouth benefit. Leaked numbers from earlier this year suggest close to 3 million units in sales.
