Exciting news is emerging for fans of action-adventure games, as a beloved franchise is set to expand its reach into new gaming territories. As the gaming community eagerly awaits the latest announcements, insiders are dropping hints about significant developments regarding one of the most anticipated titles.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is expected to be available on PlayStation 5 in 2025. This update originates from Nate the Hate, a well-known industry insider recognized for his accurate forecasts regarding upcoming releases. He indicates that the new title from MachineGames will be released on PS5 in the first half of 2025, following its initial launch on Xbox Series X|S and PC in December as a timed exclusive. Additionally, it will debut on Xbox Game Pass at launch.

Nate the Hate suggested on X / Twitter that after the timed exclusive period concludes, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle would then be introduced on PlayStation 5 during the early months of 2025.

This information arrives just ahead of Gamescom's Opening Night Live event, where fans anticipate official announcements from Bethesda or MachineGames, potentially including the game's release date.

In February, reports surfaced indicating that Microsoft was contemplating bringing Indiana Jones and the Great Circle to PlayStation 5 a few months after its release on Xbox and PC, as part of its new multi-platform strategy.

Additionally, Windows Central shared last week that there are plans to make another Xbox exclusive available on PlayStation 5, possibly Indiana Jones, with the reveal expected at Gamescom.

Initially announced in January, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is being developed by the studio recognized for creating Wolfenstein: The New Order. This first-person action-adventure game will include a unique storyline inspired by the classic movie franchise and is presently scheduled for release in 2024.

Earlier this summer, Xbox stated that it would have its most extensive presence ever at Gamescom 2024, highlighting several upcoming titles set to be featured at the event, including World of Warcraft: The War Within, Avowed, and Age of Mythology: Retold.
