Anticipation is building among fans of the beloved franchise, as the new installment of Dragon Ball prepares to make its debut. With a confirmed release date, excitement is at an all-time high for this latest entry in the series.

Dragon Ball Daima, which was initially slated for a wider airing in the fall, has finally revealed its launch date. Scheduled for October 11 in Japan, it is expected that viewers in western regions will be able to tune in on the same day, according to sources like Crunchyroll and Mantan Web.

In exciting news for enthusiasts, the first episode of Dragon Ball Daima is set to be a special extended version, with a runtime placed within a 40-minute slot on Japanese programming. This indicates that the premiere will be approximately 10 minutes longer than the standard duration typically associated with Dragon Ball episodes.

Described as a 'Great Adventure', the storyline of Dragon Ball Daima revolves around Goku and his friends being miniaturized following a mysterious event as they journey to an unexplored realm. Along the way, they will encounter novel characters, such as the pilot Glorio and the enigmatic Masked Majin.

The late Akira Toriyama played a pivotal role in the creation of this series before his passing, being credited for the foundational story and character designs that shaped its developmental phase.

Toriyama mentioned in a post last October on the official Dragon Ball website that to compensate for his reduced size, Goku employs his Nyoibo for combat—an aspect that fans have not seen in quite some time. He teased that the narrative will gradually unveil secrets tied to the Dragon Ball universe.

Dragon Ball Daima isn't the sole new anime making waves this October, as fans can also look forward to the second season of Blue Lock, Dandadan, and part three of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War being released in the same month.
